'Grow up' might be another. What really helped me was being confident in my abilities and work, and doing just what's written here. Congratulating and supporting others on their achievements.OEBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02764044543216365261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6108295456914343991.post-51631859506645135452011-10-16T14:11:32.310-07:002011-10-16T14:11:32.310-07:00I love that bit, "Get over yourself." Without them it would have taken me a much longer period of time to make the transition from journalism to fiction.Jean Henry Meadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08146960738692672013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6108295456914343991.post-1783252484191162772011-10-15T16:40:34.209-07:002011-10-15T16:40:34.209-07:00Worthy post! I've seen writers bend over backwards to help others, and I've gone out of the way myself when called to do so. I think that can go a long way to getting rid of envy.

William Doonan
www.williamdoonan.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
